Espacio Sardinero “Seedbed of Artists» is a proposal of Live Art that has developped every summer since 2013, in which artists Working different techniques and materials, move their workshops and settle them around the Bay of Santander.
This is how the meetings between artists and public are created, it´s a magical moment, a new way of «conceiving» art, an energetic back and forth that satisfies the viewer and renews the creative inspiration of the artist, promoting a mutual enrichment.
If you are searching a new way of communication experience, art and coexistence come to visit us in our little creative community in Santander.

Workshops
“Seedbed of Artists” formula is the basis on which the workshops are developped. In these workshops adults, young people and children become protagonists of their own work learning how to make decisions about its realisation, finding a space and time of freedom to experience, to awaken their creativity and to reinforce the confidence in themselves. It also creates a different family context in which adults learn to respect the free will of children and young people. In this way we managed to involve the whole family in a playful way.
All workshops are free. You´re welcome to come and enjoy!
OBJECTIVE
Our idea always comes from the same premise: encourage creativity in adults, young people and children, work in raising awareness of art and create a space of freedom where the time we share with each and every one of them is constructive.
Action Painting Workshop
Fun – Action – Color
Artistic expression through movement and color. This technique consists in sprinkling or dripping with different elements (brushes, straws, sponges, feathers, etc …) with paint on the surface of a canvas in a spontaneous way, so that it becomes a «space of free action» and not in the mere reproduction of reality.
Timetable: Everyday from 5pm to 6 pm
Conscious recycling workshop
REJECT – REDUCE – REPAIR – REUTILIZE – RECYCLE – REFLECT
Awareness and reuse of disposable materials.
These workshops arise as a result of the environmental nowadays circumstances of planet Earth and the responsibility that we all have towards the current climate change.
- Develop attitudes and values of respect for the environment.
- Learn that waste can still be useful and can be recycled.
- Encourage creativity and artistic expression.
- Empower skills for experimental work.
Timetable: Everyday from 6pm to 7pm
